Gluten free doesn’t have to be taste and nutrient free!

It is great to see so many free-from products in the shops now, but often when you read the label there is a long list of horrible ingredients added to try and make the foods palatable - so really you are just swapping one undesirable product with something else that isn’t going to be beneficial to you.




When choosing gluten free pasta, for those that can tolerate them, these bean pastas are a great alternative to the standard gluten free pastas as they include minimal ingredients and are higher in nutrients. These are available online, in larger supermarkets or in health food stores.


Its great to have something quick and easy in the cupboard for occasional use and to know that there isn’t a long list of unusual ingredients included to try and make the product taste good.


Serve them with a freshly made sauce full of your favourite vegetables.
